Art Director
Creative Strategist / Visual Storyteller. In all my years working at ad agencies and on the client side, there is one thing that still rings true: how you connect with the people who will benefit using your product or service, what is the best medium to make the connection, and once you’ve engaged them, how do you retain them.
I have assessed new and existing client through periods of great growth, transformation from traditional to digital communication, and have been recognized for my work.
Below is look at some of the work that I was able to art direct over the years.

The Southwestern is an alumni magazine that is published twice a year. I was able to have this project from start to finish. Minus the writing, I did it all. Cover and article concepts, lots of photography, layout, and ads.

Graduation needed an update. So I assessed everything that was wrong with the old setup (the first image) and developed a new look complete with new branded flooring that can be used over and over and well as new banners and piping lining the back of the stage. It was a huge success that everyone really loved. Now if only they can just have large indoor events again...

Starting in fall of 2020 I redesigned the "Southwestern". New everything, we used more imagery to tell the stories and less copy. We used a landscape format and nicer paper. It was a bright shiny moment in the midst of the pandemic.

I had the honor to have the Center for Child Protection Austin as a client. With that came this series of ads that were also used as outdoor and online banner ads.

Tasked with promoting the newest, largest and most advanced medical center of its kind in Colorado Springs we came up with this campaign utilizing the new "H" signs that were popping up all over.

AT&T Home Turf - A series of webisodes, hosted by Deion Sanders, looking into the life of professional and olympic athletes.

This is a print ad that drove consumers to the AT&T Hometurf site to watch the athlete's webisode.

AT&T had a contest called "Caddy Call". The prize was to be the caddy for the PGA TOUR pro, Camilo Villegas. This is the magazine ad for the campaign. The campaign consisted of print, a series of TV spots (see video section), a contest web site where you had to answer 18 questions, and all sorts of promotional materials for the PGA TOUR stores.

Magazine ads for Dell. A series of full-page spreads (which they never do) that were placed in several major publications. There was also an animated preroll ad for this campaign that you see in my video section.

This is just a small part of a complete rebrand of the series of Citi AA card's. We created mailers and emails for all of their cards. Thank goodness they had a beautiful library of photography to work with.

Here is a series of ads (posters, print ads and outdoor) for the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo promoting a new section in the zoo called Rocky Mountain Wild.

Consumer clients mean lots of sales. This particular FSI was for Black Friday. I worked on LOTS of Black Friday campaigns, and Cyber Monday, and Pre-Black Friday, and Black Friday in July, and....But we didn't stop at print for all these sales. We also created emails, banners, and online advertisements. LOTS of them.

Catlin Insurance sponsored a team of scientists and explorers to go to the arctic to investigate global ocean change. This is a series of ads to highlight the survey and its findings.

How do you make insurance/reinsurance sexy? You hang a cherry sunburst electric guitar on the wall that's how.

Here is a poster I did for Texas Exes. This was a lot of fun to shoot. I mean who wouldn't want to cruise around Austin in a burnt orange VW Beetle?

I also got to work on campaigns for new Dell computers. This particular model was Dell's first all-in-one desktop. It all started with a photoshoot of the new model. Then we created a series of ads, print, emails, online ads and banners.

I love a client with a sense of humor. This was a series of ads for Gantner that told the story of how they were using the latest technology in their wristbands.

Magazine ad for AT&T's high speed internet. This particular ad is near and dear to my heart. Drop me an email and ask me why.
